Per Jim's (AJ3DI) request, I'm posting info about noise on the repeater. Nov. 10th - 9:30am Sunday Net Listening via Echolink. Lots of noise during check-in's. Some were clean, but the majority are

Same problem with ARES net this evening then it locked me out completely hope Pat was able to take over

Jim, It was noisy during check in because stations were doubling. Some were not waiting for the carrier to drop before transmitting. The beep heard when station unkeys does not reset transmit timer.

Ed, I definitely heard some doubling, but there were plenty of instances where there was just one person transmitting where the audio I heard on Echolink was full of static. We had local stations

Harvey, Similar problem to morning net. With all the tailgating,the repeater timed out. Must remind users to let carrier drop completely before transmitting. I wasn't around to listen to the ARES

Thanks There were also some volume and distortion issues but the Sunday 9AM net should answer that. I will be on RF this Sunday and possibly back on Echolink the following Sunday
